Together we identify and remove anything holding us back from living and loving more like Christ, so that we can live with greater clarity and courage in every dimension of live, and play our role in making it on earth as it is in heaven.
Our Mission
THE KINGDOM IS COUNTING ON COURAGEOUS MEN WILLING TO TAKE RISKS TO BRING THE LOVE AND TRUTH OF GOD TO OUR SPHERES OF INFLUENCE. JEFF AND THE OTHER MEN OF THE WAY HAVE COMMITTED THEMSELVES TO INVEST DEEPLY IN THE LIVES OF A SMALL COMMUNITY OF MEN WHO ARE WILLING TO STEP UP TO THIS TASK.
JEFF SPADAFORA
Jeff Spadafora is a former management consultant and leadership development expert for Fortune 1000 companies. In 2005, God led him to repurpose his time, talent and treasure toward helping successful people in mid-life transition discover and engage in their second half calling. He did this as a part of the leadership team at the Halftime Institute where he was the Director of Life Purpose Curricula that was used by thousands of people. He was also Director of Global Coaching Services and trained 41 Halftime Institute-certified coaches in 6 countries.
As a result of training Halftime coaches, directly coaching 100’s of successful Christians one-on-one, and speaking and facilitating workshops globally, he wrote The Joy Model to provide a blueprint for people to live with peace, purpose, courage, character and freedom.
In 2018, on an extended sabbatical along the Mediterranean coast of Spain, the Holy Spirit guided Jeff back to the fundamentals of discipleship. To double-down on being a life-on-life disciple maker and not an organization builder. To help men break through any and all barriers preventing them to live and love like Christ. To grow in this direction with others, locally, over time.
If you're ready to take the next step in your personal, professional and faith life, then join one of The Way small group communities and let the adventure begin.
JON SBOROV
Jon Sborov is a Coach & Spiritual Director at The Way. He has a background of 25 years serving in men’s ministry and church leadership while balancing and navigating a career in technology consulting, where he specialized in continuous process improvement and organizational change management serving enterprise clients across the healthcare, media, and financial sectors.
With a solid foundation of mentors that invested into his life after coming to faith from an unchurched background, he has come to understand that true discipleship occurs within the context of connection and relationship. His faith journey led him to serve in various ministry roles within the church, until the call of the “wilderness pastor” very clearly emerged in his life. As he was wrestling with what God was laying on his heart, Jeff Spadafora invited him to join a cohort of The Way. While his hope was that the experience would provide clarity on his calling, it unexpectedly became the catalyst for life transformation. Out of that experience, Jon co-founded The Pursuit podcast and then launched UpRising as a mentorship ministry designed for life-on-life discipleship. Over the last 2 years, Jon has served as a coach and leader of 4 cohorts in The Way, ushering them through the same program that revolutionized his own life.
Transformation is a messy, miraculous, hard, complex, beautiful, and necessary process… the one thing it is NOT is passive. It requires a man to be “all-in”. In response to that call, Jon retired from his corporate career and most recently walked away from his avocation as a Division 1 college football referee. He has thrown down the gauntlet in his own life in order to invest, challenge, and lead men into true life transformation that enables them to find and answer the call of God on their lives that echoes in Romans 8:19 – “All of creation is waiting, in eager expectation, for the sons of God to be revealed!”
Married for 30 years to Tara, they have 4 adult “kids” in their 20’s, and they are now enjoying an exciting empty nest season, taking as many date nights, weekend trips to the mountains, and beach vacations as their schedule allows. Together they lead pilgrimages and missions trips, and have a passion for working on the medical and clean water needs in Rwanda.
JEFF HAHL
Jeff Hahl serves as the Director and Coach for The Way’s Aspiring Leaders and Emerging Leaders programs, where he is dedicated to coaching, mentoring, and equipping men to thrive in life, leadership, and faith. With over a decade of experience walking alongside men and young men in Denver—many from gang backgrounds and fatherless homes—and having lived and mentored in Rwanda, Jeff has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of intentional mentorship.
A long-time leader in organizations like Young Life and as a basketball coach, Jeff has poured into countless young men over the years. Beyond organizational roles, he’s invested deeply in personal mentorship—walking with men through real-life challenges and helping them clarify their calling and purpose. Jeff noticed a troubling pattern: after turning 18, many young men lost the key support systems they relied on—teachers, coaches, and youth programs—leaving a critical gap during a pivotal season of life. This realization led Jeff and The Way to launch the Aspiring Leaders program, designed to fill that gap through life-changing mentorship, coaching, and community.
Jeff also co-leads Emerging Leaders, a group focused on equipping men in their 30s—many of them young professionals and entrepreneurs—to integrate their faith with the demands of leadership, family, and calling. His professional background as a real estate investor, private equity partner, entrepreneur, and professional coach gives him a unique ability to connect with and support men navigating high-capacity environments.
Outside of his work, Jeff loves spending time with his wife, Carly, and their son, Zander. He enjoys staying active and exploring Colorado’s outdoors—whether hiking, biking, or finding new adventures with his family.
BRANDON ADDISON
Brandon Addison is a former startup entrepreneur, executive coach, and lead pastor who has spent decades guiding leaders through deep, lasting transformation. He has worked with New York Times bestselling authors, Fortune 500 teams, and top-tier government and business leaders—bringing clarity, courage, and heart to the challenges they face.
Brandon is a core leader with Tin Man Ministries and chair with C12 Colorado, where he equips leaders to integrate their inner life with their outer leadership. Trained at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and the Family Firm Institute, he also holds a Master of Divinity from Covenant Seminary and is completing doctoral studies in neuroscience and transformative leadership.
Through coaching and co-leading The Way’s Emerging and Seasoned Leaders Programs, Brandon helps men live and lead from deep alignment with their God-given passion and purpose. He believes that you cannot truly know yourself until you’ve been willing to name both the deepest longings of your heart and the most devastating disappointments of your life. That kind of honest storytelling—done in community—is the beginning of real transformation.
JESSE BEAN
Jesse Bean is a Licensed Professional Counselor, entrepreneur, and aspiring author.
Jesse spent his childhood deeply immersed in the foundations of Evangelical Christianity. As he emerged into early adulthood, his father’s imprisonment, his pastor’s moral hypocrisy, and the worldview shift he experienced while serving in the Iraq war all rattled his faith. The foundations of his faith crumbled. Yet, despite his best efforts to get away, Jesus would not leave him alone.
After years of counseling, Jesse encountered Jesus in a completely new way. Having known the love of Jesus his whole life, Jesse felt this love for the first time. This encounter was the first step in a new life of freedom, where he could live with nothing to fear, nothing to hide, and nothing to prove.
He began his professional journey with service in the Marine Corps, including two overseas deployments.
He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from the Leeds School of Business and went on to earn a CPA License in Colorado. After a stint in public accounting, he transitioned to finance and spent the next six years in wealth management.
After undergoing the personal and spiritual transformation described above, he returned to school and earned a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. Since then, he has been helping men break free from the hurts, hang-ups, lies, and addictions that prevent them from fully coming alive to the men God created them to be.
He also spent six years as the owner and operator of a childcare center, a venture he considers one of the greatest honors of his life. He currently lives in Westminster with his adventurous wife, dancing daughter, and hockey player son.
DAN ANDERSON
With more than 35 years as an entrepreneur, pastor, executive coach, and speaker, Dan has invested in leaders across the business, education, and nonprofit sectors. His journey reflects a blend of marketplace rigor and spiritual formation, shaped by decades of guiding men toward living, loving, and leading more like Jesus.
For the past 13 years, Dan has served as President and CEO of Kingdom Way, equipping Christian business owners and marketplace leaders to thrive in life, business, and ministry through transformational learning environments. His formation includes degrees in Pastoral Studies and Counseling, along with coaching certifications through Five Capitals, Strata Leadership, Blackaby Coaching, and Michael Hyatt’s Full Focus system.
Though much of Dan’s calling has been marked by momentum and fruitfulness, there was a season when that momentum could no longer quiet his growing “smoldering discontent.” What began as subtle unrest became a deep internal descent—a year he described as living “in orbit on the dark side of the moon.” It was during that season that he met Jeff Spadafora and encountered the men of The Way.
His journey with The Way, as Dan shares, saved his life. More than that, it led him into a deeper clarity of identity, renewed purpose, and a freedom and joy that reshaped how he lives, leads, and loves.
Sometimes a man must give up something he already loves to step into something he loves—and feels called to—even more. Dan shares this conviction, which reflects his ongoing commitment to serve; now, as part of The Way team, walking alongside other men who are pursuing clarity, courage, and wholehearted living.
Dan and his wife, Ilona, have been married for 35 years and live in Northern Colorado. They are grateful for their three children who are stepping into adulthood. When not engaged in his vocation, you will find Dan reading, hiking, lifting, biking, occasionally attempting to improve his golf swing—or traveling to Liberia, West Africa, where he supports indigenous pastors and community development initiatives.
JEFF HUTCHEON
Jeff has over 25 years of experience in business development, marketing, and sales. He began his career in the professional sports industry, building and leading sales teams responsible for more than $30 million in annual revenue. Over the years, his experience expanded from managing high-performing teams to overseeing marketing, research, service development, and web strategy for a Fortune 500 company. Jeff has worked with organizations such as Learfield Communications, Home Sports Entertainment, Fox Sports Southwest, the Houston Rockets, Administaff, and Verecloud.
In 2003, Jeff sensed a deeper calling—an invitation to steward his business experience for Kingdom purposes. He moved his family to Denver, Colorado, and began developing a discipleship and mentoring initiative designed to unite, develop, and mobilize leaders to use their time, talent, and treasure to advance the Kingdom of God.
For more than two decades, Jeff has walked alongside leaders in business, government, and ministry, helping them integrate faith and leadership in the marketplace. Through those years of fruitful ministry, a growing conviction began to form: what he had built was meaningful, but he sensed it was meant to be part of something even deeper and more integrated.
Rather than simply expanding his own platform, Jeff chose to step personally into The Way’s process, experiencing the same journey that he now invites other men into. As he began walking through the work himself, he recognized a resonance between his heart for relational, Kingdom-driven leadership and The Way’s commitment to clarity, courage, and wholehearted formation.
Jeff now brings his decades of marketplace experience, spiritual leadership, and humility into The Way community, walking shoulder to shoulder with men who are committed to deeper freedom and alignment with Christ in every dimension of life.
Jeff currently serves as Executive Director of The Remnant and is a former on-field official in the National Football League. He is also the author of Adopted: A Decision to Love, the true story of his family’s adoption journey. Jeff and his wife, Sherri, live in Castle Pines, Colorado, and have two children, Lindsey and Peter.
God is spirit, omnipresent, and pure love.
We came from Love, to be loved, to go love.
God is not mad at us when we sin. God is mad at evil for high jacking our minds and causing us to sin.
Unidentified sin (aka ignorance) and unrepentant sin (aka obstinance) blocks us from receiving the blessings God is trying to give us.
Jesus is the visible image of God. He is our Savior and Lord. He modeled The Way.
The Holy Spirit is alive in us, wants to guide us, and is our source of comfort and power.
Personal transformation happens best locally, over time, and in small groups.
There is no freedom without authenticity.
Life-on-life discipleship is the method of The Way. Courage, creativity, joy and the advancement of God’s love is the result.
